KitFront provides reusable website sections, templates, code examples, and related digital resources for developers, freelancers, agencies, and businesses. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, why we collect it, how we use it, and the choices you have.

1. Information We Collect

Account Information

When you create an account, sign in, or manage your profile, we may collect your email address, authentication details, account identifiers, plan status, and related account settings.

Authentication Information

We use third-party authentication and database services, including Supabase. If you sign in with Google or another supported provider, we may receive information that provider makes available, such as your email address, name, profile image, provider user ID, and sign-in status.

Billing Information

When you buy a subscription or lifetime plan, payment processing is handled by Paddle or another payment provider. We may receive and store limited billing information such as your plan, purchase status, subscription status, renewal or cancellation status, transaction IDs, customer IDs, billing email, tax or invoice details, and payment events. We do not store full card numbers on our servers.

Usage Information

We may collect information about how you use KitFront, including pages visited, sections viewed, code copied, favorites, checkout actions, upgrade prompts, sign-in and sign-up events, subscription actions, device type, browser type, approximate location derived from IP address, referring pages, and general interaction data.

Technical Information

We may collect technical information such as IP address, browser and device details, operating system, logs, cookie identifiers, local storage identifiers, and error or performance data.

Support and Communication Information

If you contact us, request support, report a problem, or send feedback, we may collect your email address, message content, attachments, and any other information you choose to provide.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use information for the following purposes:

  • create and manage your account
  • authenticate users and keep accounts secure

KitFront uses cookies, local storage, and similar technologies to operate the website, keep you signed in, remember account state, support security, measure usage, and improve the product.

  • PostHog for product analytics and event tracking
  • Google Analytics for website traffic analytics
  • Microsoft Clarity for website usage insights, interaction analytics, and session replay
  • Vercel Analytics and hosting tools for traffic, performance, and deployment insights

PostHog analytics requests may be routed through a KitFront domain path, such as /ingest, before being processed by PostHog. This helps analytics work reliably while still being covered by this Privacy Policy.

You can control cookies through your browser settings. Blocking cookies or local storage may affect sign-in, account access, checkout, or other website functionality.

4. Payment Processing

Payments for KitFront are processed by Paddle or another payment provider. These providers process payment details directly under their own terms and privacy policies. We receive limited purchase, subscription, tax, invoice, and customer information needed to provide access, maintain billing records, manage subscriptions, handle refunds, and provide support.

Do not send full card numbers or sensitive payment credentials to us by email or support message.

5. Third-Party Services We Use

We rely on trusted third-party services to operate KitFront. These may include:

  • Supabase for authentication, account data, and database services
  • Paddle for checkout, subscriptions, tax handling, invoices, and payment processing
  • Vercel for hosting, deployment, infrastructure, and performance analytics
  • PostHog for product analytics and event tracking
  • Microsoft Clarity for website usage insights, interaction analytics, and session replay
  • Google services for Google sign-in, Google Analytics, fonts, and related website services
  • CDN and script providers used to load website assets and improve delivery

These providers may process information according to their own privacy policies and our configuration of their services.

6. How We Share Information

We do not sell your personal information.

We may share limited information with trusted service providers who help us operate KitFront, such as providers for:

  • authentication, account management, and database hosting
  • payment processing and subscription handling
  • hosting and infrastructure
  • analytics and performance monitoring
  • customer support and communication
  • fraud prevention, security, tax, accounting, and compliance

  • withdraw consent where processing is based on consent
  • cancel a subscription or turn off renewal

10. Marketing Communications

If we send marketing emails, you can unsubscribe using the instructions in the message. We may still send non-marketing messages related to your account, purchases, billing, security, support, legal notices, or product access.

11. International Processing

KitFront and our service providers may process and store information in countries other than where you live. These countries may have privacy laws that differ from those in your location.

12. Children's Privacy

KitFront is not intended for children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
