This License explains how you may use KitFront resources. It applies to website sections, UI blocks, templates, code examples, previews, documentation, downloads, and any other digital materials made available through KitFront.
This License is part of our Terms of Service. If there is a conflict between this License and the Terms of Service, the Terms of Service control unless a written agreement with KitFront says otherwise.
1. License Type
Subject to your plan and our Terms of Service, KitFront grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use KitFront resources in your own projects and client work.
This is a usage license only. Purchasing or accessing KitFront does not transfer ownership of KitFront, its source library, branding, website, templates, or intellectual property.
2. What You Can Do
You may use KitFront resources to create:
- personal websites
- business websites
- landing pages
- marketing pages
- startup and SaaS websites
- dashboards and app interfaces
- commercial websites and applications
- freelance client work
- agency client work
- finished websites or applications delivered to clients
3. Project Usage
Unless your plan states otherwise, paid KitFront plans allow use across unlimited personal, commercial, and client projects.
Free resources may be used under the same general rules, but access to paid or premium resources requires an eligible paid plan, lifetime purchase, or other valid access.
4. Client Handoff
You may deliver finished websites, applications, or project files to clients as part of normal freelance or agency work.
Client handoff does not give the client a separate KitFront membership, the right to access your KitFront account, or the right to reuse KitFront resources as a library in unrelated projects unless they have their own valid license.
5. Code Modification
You may edit, rename, restructure, restyle, combine, and adapt KitFront code to fit your project needs.
You may remove or replace visual styling, copy, assets, classes, and markup as needed for your finished project, unless a specific resource includes a separate notice that says otherwise.
6. What You Cannot Do
You may not:
- resell, sublicense, lease, or redistribute KitFront resources as standalone files
- publish paid resources in public repositories, downloads, marketplaces, or template packs
- share premium resources with people who do not have valid access
- share, sell, rent, or transfer your KitFront account
- bundle KitFront resources into another template, UI kit, starter kit, or code product for sale or distribution
- create a competing section library, UI library, template library, or code marketplace using KitFront resources
- use automation to scrape, mirror, bulk download, or mass-copy KitFront resources
- claim ownership of KitFront resources as a standalone library or original source collection
7. SaaS, Builders, and Marketplaces
You may not embed KitFront resources into a website builder, no-code builder, SaaS generator, AI site generator, template marketplace, downloadable template product, or similar product where end users receive reusable source access.
If you want to use KitFront in this kind of product, contact us first. A separate written commercial license is required before any such use.
8. Team and Account Sharing
A KitFront account is for the account holder or authorized plan users only. You may not use one paid account as a shared public download account for a team, community, marketplace, or client group.
If you need multi-user or team access, contact us at support@kitfront.com so we can discuss the right setup.
9. Third-Party Assets and Dependencies
Some KitFront resources may reference third-party frameworks, libraries, fonts, icons, images, or dependencies. Those third-party items may be governed by their own licenses or terms.
You are responsible for reviewing and complying with third-party licenses that apply to your finished project.
10. Ownership
KitFront retains ownership of its original content, code collections, section library, templates, design system, website, branding, documentation, and related materials.
You own your finished projects, subject to KitFront's ownership of the underlying KitFront resources and any third-party materials used in those projects.
11. License Violations
Accounts involved in piracy, unauthorized redistribution, scraping, account sharing, fraud, abuse, or repeated license misuse may be suspended or terminated.
We may also revoke access, refuse future service, or take other action available under the Terms of Service or applicable law.
12. Updates to This License
We may update this License from time to time as KitFront grows, new products are added, or our business needs change. When we do, we will update the Last updated date above.
